Burgers can be healthy too! Check out this easy and nutritious recipe with turkey lean proteins and tons of veggies plus a cheesy spicy cauliflower side.
Ingredients:
- 1 large avocado
- 4 medium tomatoes
- 1 lemon
- 1 can of organic sweetcorn
- 400gr of minced turkey
- 1 tsp of coconut oil
- sea salt
- nutritional yeast
- chilli flakes
How to prepare:
- chop avocado and tomatoes, place them in a bowl with the lemon juice and sea salt and transfer to the fridge
- slightly heat the corn for few minutes in a pan
- roll and flatten turkey mince into burgers – 400gr makes about 4 healthy portions
- cook the burgers in a pan with coconut oil
- in the meantime boil the cauliflower until slightly soft
- sprinkle the cauliflower with a generous amount of nutritional yeast and chilli
- serve burgers topped with the salsa and cheesy cauliflower as a side
