Pretty  In Pink Pancakes

Today we’ll be making my Pretty In Pink Pancakes

Full of dietary fibre, healthy fat and plant-based protein

These are perfect for any time of the day or a post-workout kind of meal

You will need:

  • one tablespoon of almond milk
  • one cup of oats
  • two eggs
  • one banana
  • a sprinkle of flaxseeds
  • a handful of pistachos and blueberries
  • a drizzle of maple syrup

 

You will need a blender and a pan with some coconut oil. Just follow these steps

  1. Blend well: this is your batter
  2. Heat the pan with some coconut oil
  3. Pour the batter onto the hot pan – you don’t have to make perfect shapes 🙂
  4. Cook and flip when needed
  5. Top with pistachios and flax seeds
  6. Add some blueberries
  7. Drizzle the maple syrup

Regular pistachio consumption can reduce the levels of “bad” cholesterol in the body

Blueberries are the king of antioxidant foods

Nourishing, inflammation and age defying, beautifying, energising… I could go on 🙂

Guilt-free pancakes? I say yes to that 🙂
